Support that helps residents settle in, get involved, and become more self-reliant, step by step.

Substantive guidance starting on the first day of childcare

Our housing support workers assist refugees and asylum seekers from their very first day in the shelter, helping them find peace, structure, and direction in a new environment. They help residents take their first steps within the shelter and toward integration into the local community. This includes getting familiar with daily routines, understanding house rules, and accessing care and support.

In addition, personal development is crucial. That is why we encourage language development, participation in activities, volunteer work, and engagement with the community. Self-reliance is central to this.
